ABOUT US
Bruce Willette, president and founder of NTA, is a highly regarded executive. Most recently, he was the founder and President of Salsarita's, Inc, a rapidly growing Fast Casual Mexican concept he founded in 2000. Operating and franchising restaurants in 19 states, and one in Puerto Rico, with seven locations set to open by the end of 2011, Salsarita's grew from 1 to 85 restaurants during his leadership.
In 2011, Bruce led the successful sale of Salsarita's Inc. to Phil Friedman and the Mississippi Restaurant Group. Friedman was the former CEO of McAlister's Deli. Under Bruce's leadership, Salsarita's was awarded the leading restaurant in "The Future 50" (fastest growing fast-casual chain), in 2007, by Restaurant News.
Prior to Salsarita's, Bruce created BR Ventures (an operating company with 9 locations), during which he was a franchisee of Dairy Queen and Frank & Stein. He was Frank & Stein's largest franchisee in 2000.
Bruce received an BA in Communication from the University of Alabama, where he was a four year letterman on the golf team. Bruce lives with his wife, Anne, and two daughters, Kate and Eve, in Charlotte, NC.
